Every dollar donated to Jericho supports life-changing work serving those in need in Danbury. We’re dependent on the generosity of compassionate individuals and groups who want to help transform lives. While we do not solicit government funding, we do accept grants and donations from businesses and corporations, so please consider asking your employer if they will match your gift.

Jericho accepts donations of unexpired non-perishable and perishable food to distribute to families in need each Friday. Donors can drop off non-perishable items at 22 Maple Ave. any time between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Thursdays, in the outdoor bins. Best days for deliveries are Wednesdays and Thursdays. For perishable or larger food drive deliveries, please contact Jericho at (203) 791-1180 to coordinate. We also welcome donations of diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6).

Greatest food pantry needs: Dried or canned beans, peanut butter, jelly, oatmeal, cereal, brown/white/yellow rice, pasta, pasta sauces, tuna, macaroni & cheese.

We also gratefully welcome donations of hearty snacks for K-5th grade students attending our after-school tutoring and mentoring programs (Goldfish crackers, graham crackers, Pirate’s Booty, pretzels, popcorn, cases of 8 oz. water bottles, etc., to go alongside fruit, yogurt etc.). These students come to us directly off the school bus and the come hungry. And everybody know, students can’t learn when they’re hungry!

If making a donation by check, you are authorizing us to make a one-time electronic debit to your checking account in the amount specified. Funds may be withdrawn from your account as early as the same day. Please note you will not receive your check back from your financial institution. Also, the check will be kept in our files for up to 60 days before being discarded. Thank you.
