Jericho’s food pantry has been operating at high capacity since April 2020, serving about 130+ families a week - off a high of 160 families in one week - compared to the 35 families we saw before COVID.

Located at 22 Maple Ave., this vital resource serves any Danbury resident unsure about their next meal.

Jericho is in always in need of both perishable and non-perishable donations

Of greatest need are non-expired donations of: tuna, dried or canned beans, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, oatmeal, healthy cereal, brown/white rice, pasta, pasta sauces, macaroni & cheese. We also welcome paper good, toiletries, and diapers (especially sizes 4, 5, and 6)

If you wish to donate perishable goods (meats, produce, dairy), please do that on Wednesday or Thursday; we have adequate refrigeration on site.

We accept donations at 22 Maple Ave. Best hours:
Wednesday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Thursday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday - 8:00 to 11:00 am; we open at 1:00 pm for distribution to Danbury residents.

There’s a bin outside 24-7 for non-perishable donations; for larger donations, please make arrangements by calling Lourdes Rivera, Food Services Coordinator, at (914) 888-7428
